About the Author of the Song Shohage Adore
Anupam Roy is the author, composer, and singer of the song Shohage Adore. Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao & Benche Thakar Gaan, which was featured on the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali movie Autograph, served as his first song. He made his Bollywood debut in 2015 by writing the music and lyrics for the film Piku.
Srijit Mukherji's 2010 Bengali film Autograph contained two of his songs. Both Benche Thakar Gaan , performed by Rupam Islam and in another version by Roy, and Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao, which Roy sang himself, were written and composed by Roy. Later, Roy made his music directing debut with the Bengali film Chalo Paltai (2011). The same year that Rang Milanti and Baishe Srabon were released, he continued to work as a music director, lyricist, and performer on those films.
